Title: Diary reminders being entered as 1900 not 2000.

Q: "I have entered a reminder for the year 2000 but I have received a reminder for 1900?"

A: This situation occurs when your computer is not set up correctly to show a four-digit year for the short date format. However, if you already have Personnel Manager open, performing the Date Format Change now will not cause users any problems with dates already entered.

To change this, follow the steps listed below:
  1. Click on the ‘Start’ button, select ‘Settings’, then select ‘Control Panel’
  2. Double-click on the ‘Regional Settings’ icon
  3. Click on the tab folder labelled ‘Date’
  4. In the ‘Short Date’ section enter the date format ‘dd/MM/yyyy’
  5. Click on ‘OK’ to the changes you have made before exiting.

You can now start Personnel Manager and work as normal.
