Title: Known issues with Novell Networks
Could not open the user log file – it may have been corrupted.
There are a couple of things that can cause this:
Could not load the DLL library D:\…..\VBTBROWSER.DLL One of the library files needed to run this application cannot be found.
Or the file d:\…\personnel_manager.lic could not be opened.
This happens if the installation for Personnel Manager is being run over a network, (where the local PC does not have a CD-ROM) the file names are being truncated to eight characters. To get over this you need to copy the install files to a temporary location on the local drive(C:\Temp) and rename the following files:
The run the setup.exe file from the local PC. Once the software has been installed you can then delete this temporary folder.
